If you are going to get a steel up + over door then VivoPort® is simply the most elegant solution for your garage. VivoPort® is a fully automatic garage door system comprising one (up to 3 m wide and 2.75 m high) Novoferm up + over K garage door and one electrical operator.
And the best thing about it:
The operator is mounted right onto the door leaf and does not require ceiling installation. So you can save space, time and money – while definitely getting your money’s worth when it comes to convenience. After all, VivoPort® opens and closes easily, quickly and quietly via remote control unless the door leaf encounters an obstacle upon closing; in which case it immediately switches itself off at the tiniest contact - for your safety.
The VivoPort® system operator not only offers maximum convenience during operation, but also during installation. It can be easily fitted in every garage no matter whether the ceiling is high or low, accessible or inaccessible, made of hard reinforced concrete or soft gypsum plaster board. After all, the motor unit with its integrated control is installed directly on the garage door leaf and the transformer is installed in a space-saving manner under the garage-door track – a construction benefit only from Novoferm!

Since the VivoPort® system does not require an operator track, you save material, installation and maintenance costs.. - Header remains free
The operator requires no extra space above the garage door and there are no construction-related installation problems. - No need to lower high ceilings
High garage ceilings often require special lowering constructions for the installation of the operator. Not with VivoPort®! - No ceiling assembly
You do not need to dismantle or bridge any existing lamps, supports or pipes, nor will you have to deal with the typical problems of installation: no difficult drilling through reinforced concrete, no special dowels for plasterboard, no risk of drilling right through thin ceilings, no risk of the operating components being soiled by drilling dust. - No increase in insertion depth
Track-guided operators protrude approx. 30 - 40 cm outwards beyond the garage door and often have to be shortened on the building site. VivoPort® on the other hand always fits.
Space-saving and power-saving
The VivoPort® operator is not only able to run on very little power – needing just 5 W when on stand-by mode –, but also requires very little space, too. The 230-V mains transformer is simply suspended on either the left or right of the garage track and pushed near a wall socket. You don’t need a ceiling socket!
And if your garage is not connected to the electric mains then you can use the practical VivoPort® battery pack, which is also installed in a space-saving manner under the garage door track. The charging device is integrated in the battery pack and even a solar panel can be easily connected to the device - for charging the battery using solar energy and without any power consumption.

- Secure bolting – thanks to the adjustable latch-bolt principle; additional protection - especially for VivoPort® garage door systems - with the VivoLock central locking system: electromechanical 3-point locking device based on the safe principle with solid bolts in the side frames; floor-independent, therefore no impairment in function through dirt on the floor; no possibility of external manipulation, no lifting of bottom edge of door possible.
At Novoferm: an operator that never needs adjusting!
VivoPort® is especially safe, because it is a garage door system that actually monitors itself: The operator not only responds precisely at the touch of a button, but also reacts highly sensitively to any kind of obstacle. The running direction registers every obstacle and stops the door before a gap becomes too narrow. And you don’t have to set or check the running direction at all: the maximum permissible value of 150 N on the main closing edge can not be exceeded due to the system.
