Fire-resistant flaps

Novoferm fire-resistant flaps are a practical security solution, especially for special material flow requirements, such as conveyor systems on rails.
Depending on the process flows and available space, we provide lifting or sliding flaps. Both models can be designed to remain open at all times (i.e. to only close in the event of a fire) or closed at all times (i.e. to only open when consignments pass through).
Our fire-resistant lifting and sliding flaps can be used both for floor-level openings (without parapets) and for openings with parapets. As such, we can offer a wide range of options for fire-retardant sealing – even for conveyor belts that run at any height.

Our fire-resistant seals have been officially tested in accordance with DIN regulations and have been awarded general building code approval by means of certification issued by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Berlin. A recognized quality protection association monitors compliance with the specified requirements. This is documented by an embossed plate indicating the mark with information on design, registration number, quality protection association, manufacturer and year of manufacture.
