Designed as modular elements that are easy to transport and install, they are even suitable for larger door dimensions.

Fire-resistant and smokeproof sliding doors

Novoferm is consistently striving to improve smoke and fire protection. For example, sills are no longer necessary for incorporated pass doors (max. 3 per door). In appropriate floor conditions, sills are not necessary for the entire opening area of the door.
Our fire-resistant seals are self-closing and designed to prevent fire from penetrating openings in walls.
All versions been officially tested in accordance with DIN 4102 and have been awarded general building code approval by means of certification issued by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Berlin.

Fire-resistant and smokeproof sliding doors

A choice of numerous versions – with building code approval, of course – enable us to adapt the single and double leaf fire-resistant sliding doors to the specific property. A hold-open system with activation mechanism, for example, can keep the doors mainly open, and closes them reliably in the event of a fire. Pass doors enable convenient access when the door is closed.
Both the sliding door panels and the pass doors can be built with T30 and/or T90 fire-resistant glazing. Single leaf T90 doors are also available in stainless steel.

Smaller sliding doors with pass door and/or glazing are recommended for rooms with fire risk fittings.

Fire-resistant and smokeproof sliding doors

Fire-resistant sliding doors can be perfectly combined with fast-opening PVC doors or strip curtains. This combination guarantees the specified protective function while at the same time ensuring fast passage without any loss of energy.

Fire-resistant and smokeproof sliding doors

Steel sliding doors without official approval can also be designed with fire protection function in special cases, albeit without registration. The doors are supplied in individual segments for easy transportation and assembled by us at the building site.
