Energy consulting: Licence to save money
Reducing operating costs is the primary key to commercial success.

We subject your energy balance to in-depth examination – after all, the savings potential is enormous. Our experts examine your door system and recommend how and where you could save energy, and therefore costs, by using innovative technology. And they show you how quickly the associated investments pay off.

How to control your energy costs!
A conventional door (A) opens very slowly. The ensuing air flows cause the warm air to escape while cold airs flows into the room - pushing up your energy costs. Novoferm quick-acting rolling shutters (B) open and close so quickly that these undesirable air flows cannot take place.

This keeps the indoor temperature consistent, thus lowering energy costs – while at the same ensuring a pleasant working climate for your staff and less sickness-related absence.

Comparison between a conventional door system and NovoSpeed Solutions.

Energy Advice

The indoor temperature in production facilities is usually around 19 °C.

Energy Advice

The conventional door (A) opens at a speed of 0.2 m/s.

The quick-acting rolling shutter (B) opens at a speed of 2 m/s!

Energy Advice

The conventional door (A) is only one-third open.

The quick-acting rolling shutter (B) is open and the van can already drive through.

Energy Advice

Cold air flows in through the bottom of the door (A).
Warm air escapes at the top. Door (B) has already closed before these air flows can take place.

Energy Advice

A lot of energy is lost through the open door (A).

Energy Advice

At an outdoor temperature of 7° C, the indoor temperature drops rapidly if the door is open for too long. Which unnecessarily pushes up heating costs.
